Description

Astera village is not far from the spawn point in the large botanical garden and the village can be reached on foot or by water in a few minutes. You can hear the humming of the bees from afar and perceive the sweet smell of the flowers.

The residents of Astera are versatile. Not only do they know all about the Asteraceae, but in general they are very knowledgeable about medicinal plants.

One of its most prominent residents is Hildegard von Bingen, a great healer and wise woman of the German Middle Ages. You can find her in the hospice, a kind of hospital.

1. Villager Quest (Narrative)

Find three important manuscripts by Hildegard von Bingen; Liber Scivias, Physica and Casae et Curae. They contain recipes that will allow you to use the plants in the garden to make powerful remedies that will come in handy later.

If you've been to Apia before, you may have already received a glass bottle from Lucie. You use it now to collect honey.

2. Flora diagramme

How much do you really know about the morphology of flowering plants? Test yourself and win a golden flower.

3. Minekraft Challenge

Everyone knows that bone meal makes the plants in Minecraft grow. Here in Apia it is even enough to water the plants. Pick and water as many plants as you can.

4. Geocaching

Discover the starting point for a geocaching that follows in the footsteps of a contemporary of Hildegard; Moshe ben Maimon, or Maimonides for short.

5. Collectibles

Complement your herbolarium with medicinal herbs!

6. Competition

In this challenge we are building a medieval monastery with a monastery garden (without interior decoration). You can use a real monastery as a template or invent one. It is important to retain the basic elements that made up a monastery from this period.
