Description

Ranuncul is a neighboring village of Boragi and Boraku. Close to the desert and directly on the river, which is part of an extensive lake landscape, it is nestled in the middle of rolling hills.

The Ranunculians understand a great deal about the poisons of the plant family Ranunculaceae, which they do not use medicinally or for warfare, but need them in particular for the production of pigments, especially for painting.

If you pass here you have to go to the nearby wood, it is full of magic.

1. Villager Quest (Narrative)

The honorary citizen of Ranuncul is Beatrix Potter. She pioneered nature conservation and bought large lots in the Lake District, England.

She loves plants and animals. That's why she bought a small farm in the lake area. Find him and learn all about the different characters she invented for her stories. They will show you how to create your own garden on the windowsill.

2. Flora diagramme

Who does not know the rhyme of buttercup "Do you like butter, do you like cheese?" and the accompanying test, in which a buttercup is held under the chin. Well, what are the blossoms of this flower really all about? What else do you know about her?

3. Minecraft Challenge

Beatrix Potter is famous for knowing everything there is to know about mushrooms, which also grow in abundance here, but that's another topic.

She also wrote stories. The best known is probably Peter Hase. In Ranuncul Peter Hase has hidden over 200 Easter eggs. Do you find them all?

4. Geocaching

This geocaching is all about the art.

5. Collectibles

Have you ever observed plants under the microscope? Did you know that the buttercup looks like an art painting under the microscope? Enrich yourself with the selected specimens from our art collection.

6. Competition

Some specimens of the Ranunculaceae family look almost like roses, only without a thorn, such as the Persian buttercup. And yet they are very different in many ways.

This challenge is about extracting dyes from flowers and painting a picture. The subject of the picture is free, but should have a connection with this world. Find out more about the details here.
